Opening a Sno Shack has been a rewarding experience for me and my family. It is a lot of hard work, but the rewards are worth it.  We have learned how to start and run a business, established a gathering place which is the social hub of our community, we employ up to 20 teens each season, and not only have my children learned about hard work, they have been able to buy cars, have spending money, and they will also be able to pay for college.

We have been using Sno Shack flavors and block ice shavers for ten years. Sno Shack’s product quality surpasses any on the market. The shavers shave ice so fine it literally comes out as fluffy as snow. This allows the flavors to be fully absorbed into the ice and not flow over it to the bottom of the cone. Instead, it produces a soft, smooth texture which is very pleasing to the customer.

The flavors are the most natural tasting we have found. There are many to choose from, each resulting in a very authentic, flavorful product. We have hundreds of repeat customers because our snow cones are the best around, thanks to Sno Shack!

We love the Sno Shack team. In 2006, my family decided to start a shaved ice company in San Antonio, TX. There were really no shaved ice stands around town so I started a search for the best flavors, best buildings and the best support team and found them all at SnoShack. I tried every shaved ice stand in every town I passed through (and I travel a lot), and Sno Shack was hands down the best. I don’t say that because I bought a Sno Shack building and want to talk up their product. I had a clean slate and could have gone with anyone. I went with Sno Shack because they are the best.

There were a lot of obstacles to overcome, and still are many challenges today, but it sure is fun to know we started a business that is successful. We brought the best tasting shaved ice to San Antonio, Texas and our customers love us. There is no way we could have done this without the help and support of the Sno Shack support team. Jessica and Burt are the best and will help you with any issues or concerns you have. They aren’t just a support team, they are family. In fact we stopped in to say hi the last time we passed through Idaho on our way up to Yellowstone and Burt and his sweetheart took us to dinner.
