Cheryl Lewis, Sno Shack corporate president and owner until October 2005, concluded that change in ownership and, thus, corporate leadership was in order.  She approached Jared Sommer, perhaps the most successful Sno Shack/Shaved Ice operator in the industry, to consider the corporate purchase.

Jared's experience in Shaved Ice as a customer stretches back to nearly the inception of Sno Shack--the late 70's to early 80's.  Jared's entry as owner of his own Sno Shack began in the summer of 1992.  The rest is history.

Jared has operated Sno Shacks in towns of primarily smaller demographic populations and has extracted $4 to $5 gross revenue per capita each summer even while facing competition from the majority of the other big names in Shaved Ice.  None has been able to compete!  Revenues above $85,000 in small towns with populations around 20,000 has been achieved.  This is unheard of in the entire industry! Jared brings a breadth of knowledge to the industry and to Sno Shack that is absolutely unmatched anywhere in the world!

It was Jared's success over many years that led Cheryl Lewis to hand select Jared to take over the reins of Sno Shack, Inc.  Jared now fills the capacity of President at Sno Shack, Inc.  Jared spends his days assisting people like you improve existing Sno Shack operations and helps the beginners set themselves on a course for success.
